The admission process initiates once an eligible candidate has submitted their application, received within the specified deadline at the admission office.

 

COUNSELLING PROCESS
  • Our counselling process aims to guide potential scholars towards their desired program:
  • Candidates are required to personally appear before the Counseling Committee on the specified date and time. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of the application.
  • Ensure you have all the necessary documents, as outlined in the IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS, during counselling.

 

ALLOCATION OF SEATS

Seats in our various programs are allocated based on merit-ranking in the specified entrance test, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria and preferences indicated during counselling (based on seat availability).

 

PAYMENT OF FEES AND CONFIRMATION OF SEAT

Secure your admission by paying the full fee at the time of counselling.

  • Fees can be paid in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of “NIILM University” payable at Kaithal. Please note that cheques will not be accepted.
  • All enrolled students must pay their fees twice a year, as per the university's notification.
  • Late fee payments will incur fines as per university regulations.

GENERAL INFORMATION

REGISTRATION

Ensure registration for your chosen program on the first day of the academic session. Failure to register may result in the removal of your name from the university rolls.

UNIFORMS

The students of NIILM University are required to wear the prescribed uniform on all working days.

ATTENDANCE

We emphasise regular attendance to maximise the benefits of academic delivery. Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for examinations.

LAPTOP

Students granted admission to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs must possess a laptop computer meeting the university's configuration requirements. Details are available on our website.

RESERVATION

We reserve 25% of seats for bona fide candidates of Himachal Pradesh in NIILM University Himachal Pradesh and 15% for candidates of Haryana Domicile in NIILM University, Punjab. Seat allocation for reserved categories follows state government policies.

FEE PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Admission is confirmed upon full fee payment at the time of counselling. Please refer to university notifications for fee payment schedules.

FEE REFUND RULES

Review our fee refund policy for withdrawals before and after the commencement of the session, ensuring compliance with stipulated procedures and deductions.

CANCELLATION OF SEAT

Failure to register on the specified date or non-compliance with eligibility criteria may result in seat cancellation.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Please note the following instructions for a smooth application process:

  • Attach attested copies of required documents with the admission form.
  • Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
  • Bring the filled application form and original documents to counselling.
  • Admission is provisional pending verification of original certificates/documents.
  • Disputes are subject to jurisdiction in Chandigarh City.
