The University was established in the year 2011 under the Private University Act, 2006.  It is pertinent to mention here that this University is located in the hinterland of Haryana and providing quality education mostly to the rural students.  University is dedicated in delivering value education with skill component with an objective to provide livelihood to each of the students who passes out from the University. The University is geared up to implement NEP 2020 with full vigour and further focus on quality, equity, accessibility, accountability such as to empower students with knowledge, skills of 21st Century and values to increase their employability by enhancing accessibility of quality education, ensuring equity and inclusion, encouraging highest standards in teaching and learning with accountability, promoting best practices in research and innovation.
