Sanjeev Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the field of Fine Arts with a strong academic background and extensive practical experience in visual and sculptural arts. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, which he successfully completed in the year 2022. His academic training is supported by hands-on professional experience, enabling him to integrate theory with studio-based learning.

He was selected as a Senior Artist and worked with the Art and Cultural Affairs Department, Chandigarh (Haryana), where he gained valuable exposure to cultural projects, exhibitions, and artistic practices at an institutional level. This professional experience has strengthened his understanding of traditional Indian art forms as well as contemporary artistic expressions.

Sanjeev Kumar possesses expertise in a wide range of artistic media and techniques, including stone art, painting, and sculpture using materials such as cement, plaster, terracotta, fibre, wood, metal, and silicone. His versatility across materials allows him to guide students in experimental and material-based art practices while maintaining aesthetic and structural integrity.

As an educator, he is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) programs. His teaching approach emphasizes creativity, conceptual clarity, technical skill development, and practical execution.
