My name is Reena Devi, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce with a solid academic background and a strong commitment to teaching, research, and academic innovation. I hold M.Com., B.Com., and B.Ed. degrees and am a two-time UGC-NET qualified, which reflects my subject expertise and dedication to academic excellence. I have been serving at NIILM University since 28th June 2023, where I actively participate in curriculum delivery, student mentoring, academic planning, and research-oriented activities.
My academic and research interests broadly cover finance, banking, financial planning, and risk management, with a particular focus on applying theoretical concepts to real-world financial decision-making. I have presented several research papers at national and international conferences and have contributed as a co-author to published book chapters addressing contemporary themes such as artificial intelligence, ethical practices, and behavioral aspects of investment decisions. These contributions demonstrate my engagement with emerging trends and interdisciplinary research in commerce and management.
A significant achievement in my academic career is holding a patent on a device design for Financial Planning and Risk Management, which highlights my inclination towards innovation and applied research. This patented work aims to support systematic financial analysis, effective risk assessment, and informed decision-making for individuals and organizations. I strongly believe in outcome-based and learner-centric teaching methodologies and continuously strive to enhance students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and research aptitude. I remain committed to continuous professional development, quality education, and meaningful contributions to academia and society.
