About

Dr. Preeti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at NIILM University, Kaithal, Haryana. She completed her Ph.D. in Plant Physiology (Major) with Biochemistry (Minor) from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar in September 2023. She also holds an M.Sc. in Plant Physiology from CCS HAU, Hisar and a B.Sc. (Botany, Zoology and Chemistry) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Her research interests include abiotic stress physiology, crop resilience and sustainable agriculture. She has published research papers in NAAS-rated journals and has also contributed book chapters and popular articles in the area of abiotic stress management. Her technical expertise includes enzyme extraction, biochemical studies, nutrient analysis. She is proficient in handling advanced plant physiology instruments including SPAD meter, chlorophyll fluorescence meter, IRGA, AAS, spectrophotometer and related analytical equipment.
