About

Dr. Meenu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science at NIILM University, Kaithal. She holds a Ph.D. in Family Resource Management and has a strong academic and research orientation in the field of Home Science. Her academic pursuits focus on effective resource management, technology-enabled learning, women’s empowerment, and community development. She is actively engaged in teaching, research, academic activities, and student development, with an emphasis on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications for individual, family, and community well-being. In addition to her academic achievements, she has a diverse record of sports, leadership, cultural, and co-curricular accomplishments. She was awarded the Governor’s Best Bulbul Award by Dr. A. R. Kidwai, Governor of Haryana, in 2006. She has also earned the Black Belt 1st Dan in Karate and NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificates. Her achievements in Karate include participation and medal-winning performances at district, state and national-level competitions. She has also received recognition for academic excellence, including the Best M.Sc. Thesis Award. These experiences reflect her commitment to discipline, leadership, teamwork, and continuous personal and professional development.
