About

I am an academician and researcher specializing in pharmacology, currently serving as Head of Department and Associate Professor, with over 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical education, research, and academic administration. I hold an M. Pharm. in Pharmacology and was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence, and I have submitted my Ph.D. thesis focusing on flavonoid-rich fractions and their role in cognitive disorders. I have qualified the GPAT examination in three consecutive years (2010–2012) and secured All India Topper distinction in NPTEL (Research Methodology, 2024).

My research interests encompass neuropharmacology, phytopharmacology, and toxicological evaluation, with multiple publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals. I have supervised more than 20 postgraduate dissertations along with several undergraduate research projects, and I actively engage in national and international conferences. In addition, I contribute as a peer reviewer for scientific journals and am a co-inventor on an Indian patent in the field of biomedical innovation.

I also possess experience in academic governance, including setting question papers for universities such as AKTU, BBAU, and IFTM, and contributing to curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am proficient in handling a wide range of analytical and pharmacological instruments, including UV-Visible spectrophotometer, IR instruments, pH meter, laminar air flow systems, and various psychopharmacological apparatus such as actophotometer, rota-rod, electroconvulsiometer, Morris water maze, elevated plus maze, and Y-maze.

With a strong foundation in both teaching and research, I remain committed to continuous professional development and to advancing the quality of pharmaceutical education and research.
