I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, NIILM University, Kaithal, with a strong academic and professional background in legal education and practice. I hold a B.A. LL.B. degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, and an LL.M. in Criminal and Security Law from Jagannath University, where I secured the Silver Medal for academic excellence. I have also qualified the UGC-NET in Law and am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Law from Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala. With approximately two and a half years of experience as a practising Advocate, I possess a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and their practical applications, particularly in Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Intellectual Property Rights. My academic interests extend to legal research, scholarly publications and contemporary developments in jurisprudence. I am deeply committed to delivering quality legal education, fostering analytical and critical thinking, and promoting a research-oriented academic environment. I firmly believe in upholding the highest standards of professionalism, academic integrity and institutional discipline. Through dedication, continuous learning and a progressive academic vision, I strive to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of legal education, the intellectual development of students and the overall academic excellence and growth of the institution.

Professional Development Activities

Doctoral Research: Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law from Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, with a research focus on Intellectual Property Rights, pharmaceutical patent protection and access to generic medicines.

UGC-NET Qualification: Qualified the UGC-NET in Law (December 2025), demonstrating academic proficiency and eligibility for teaching in higher education institutions.

Research Publication (2026): Published a research paper titled “Geographical Indications as Instruments of Intellectual Property and Sustainable Development: A Critical Analysis of Legal Framework, Socio-Economic Impact and Policy Challenges” in the Indian Journal of Law and Legal Research, Vol. VIII, Issue II, ISSN: 2582-8878.

Legal Practice: Gained approximately 2.5 years of professional experience as an Advocate in District Courts, Jind, Haryana, developing practical expertise in litigation, legal drafting and judicial procedures.

Academic Administration: Actively involved in examination coordination, academic planning, curriculum-related activities and institutional administrative responsibilities at NIILM University, Kaithal.

Teaching and Mentorship: Engaged in teaching, academic guidance and student mentoring, particularly in Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Intellectual Property Rights.

Academic Excellence: Secured the Silver Medal in LL.M. (Criminal and Security Law) from Jagannath University, reflecting academic achievement and subject expertise.
