Dr. Basant Lal is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIILM University, Kaithal. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Srinagar.
With research experience at premier institutes such as the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and with 16+ publications in reputed international journals, he brings strong academic depth and research expertise to his role. His research interests lie in Surface Engineering, Biomaterials, Nano-composites, Powder Technology and In-vitro Analysis of Advanced Materials.
