Professional Experience (Industry & Teaching)

Dr. Narender Kumar has over 21 years of professional experience, including 10 years in industry and 11 years in teaching, with core expertise in Web Mining and Artificial Intelligence.

He began his industry career with Cyborg Logic Systems, followed by professional associations with Pinnacle, DirecWay Global Education, and FirstRain Inc., a Business Intelligence and Market Insight software company headquartered in San Mateo, California (USA). During his industry tenure, he served as a Senior Research Analyst and Developer, contributing to system analysis, design, development, and implementation across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

He is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Applications. He possesses 11 years of teaching experience in Computer Science, specializing in Programming and Artificial Intelligence-related subjects. He has also served at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, where he contributed to teaching, student mentoring, curriculum delivery, and academic activities.

His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and Cyber Security. He has published more than 30+ research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences and has successfully guided Ph.D. scholars. He has actively contributed to curriculum development, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), and academic initiatives aligned with Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

With a strong blend of industry and academic experience, he effectively integrates practical insights into teaching and research, fostering innovation, research excellence, and technology-driven learning in higher education.
