Mr. Jasdev Singh is an academician with specialization in crop improvement, plant pathology, and disease resistance studies. He has hands-on expertise in the isolation, purification, culturing, and identification of the Ascochyta blight pathogen using standard laboratory techniques. His academic and research interests include screening of plant diseases, evaluation of host–pathogen interactions, and selection of improved genotypes. He has comprehensive knowledge of protected cultivation systems, including controlled environment agriculture and crop management practices. His work integrates principles of sustainable agriculture, focusing on resource-efficient and environmentally sound farming practices. He is proficient in modern agricultural production and management practices. Mr. Singh also demonstrates strong academic management, mentoring, and teaching skills, contributing effectively to student guidance and institutional responsibilities.
