I am Ms. Rekha Rani, Assistant Professor in the School of Law at NIILM University, Kaithal, Haryana. I am a qualified legal professional and educator with a strong academic background in law. I completed my B.A. LL.B. and LL.M. in , and qualified the UGC-NET in Law in 2023. My areas of teaching and academic interest include Constitutional Law, Public International Law, Labour and Industrial Law, Contract Law, Jurisprudence, Interpretation of Statutes, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and other areas of legal studies. I am committed to creating an interactive and student-friendly learning environment that encourages critical thinking, legal reasoning, and practical understanding of legal concepts. I actively participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, research activities, and other professional development programmes. My academic objective is to continuously enhance my knowledge and contribute meaningfully to legal education, research, and the overall academic development of students.
I have actively participated in academic conferences and research activities to enhance my knowledge and contribute to the field of legal studies. I presented my research paper on “People’s Participation in GPDP: Challenges and Opportunities for Inclusive Rural Development” at the conference organized by NLU Tripura. I also participated in a conference organized by Dhand College, where I presented my academic research. In addition, I have published two research papers, including “Critical Evaluation of Gender-Specific Protections under Indian Cyber Criminal Law.” These academic engagements have helped me develop research, presentation, analytical, and communication skills while providing opportunities to interact with academicians and researchers. I aim to continue contributing to legal research, publications, conferences, and academic discussions.
I have been actively engaged in academic and research-oriented activities in the field of Law. I have worked on research papers and academic projects focusing on contemporary legal and socio-legal issues. My research interests include Constitutional Law, Public International Law, Legal Research, Local Governance, and emerging issues in legal education. I have also participated in academic conferences and research presentations to contribute to scholarly discussions. At present, I am working towards developing quality research publications and academic projects that can contribute to the field of legal studies. I am also interested in undertaking interdisciplinary research projects and collaborative academic work in the future.
