OBJECTIVES:
The Centre for Professional Development (CPD) Committee at NIILM University aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of not only its faculty and staff, but also students and faculties from other organizations. The primary objectives of the CPD Committee include:
- Professional Growth: Promoting continuous learning and development among faculty members and students to ensure they stay current with the latest advancements in their fields. Designing programs for the professional development of students of the university and promoting it beyond the institution.
- Skill Enhancement: Providing opportunities for students, faculty and staff to improve their teaching and administrative skills through workshops, seminars, and training sessions. Developing University faculty and students as agent of change to empower the community.
- Quality Education and Research: Ensuring that the faculty can deliver high-quality education by incorporating new teaching methodologies, research and technologies. Empowering students and community on education and research as per UN Agenda 2030 SDGs.
- Career Advancement: Supporting students and faculty members of the University in their career progression by offering programs that help them achieve higher academic and professional milestones. Also designing programs and courses for the educators from other organizations for their professional development.
- Networking: Facilitating networking opportunities with professionals and institutions to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas in various domains.
These objectives are in line with NIILM University's commitment to providing a supportive and dynamic academic environment for both its faculty and students.
