ADMISSION PROCEDURE

At NIILM University, we prioritize your convenience and strive for a seamless admission process. Here’s what you need to know:

Carefully fill out the application form, ensuring no detail is missed.

If your exam results are pending, indicate "Results are awaited" in the marks/grade column.

Send forecast/predicted/term results endorsed by your school head if your final results are not yet available.

Submit all necessary documents, including your academic certificates and passport details.

 

ELIGIBILITY

To ensure a smooth application process, make sure you have the following documents ready:

• 10th and 12th / Bachelor Degree certificates along with marks sheet/transcript.
• Copy of the passport.
• Soft copy of your latest passport-size color photograph.
• English language proficiency test scores (IELTS/TOEFL).

 

SELECTION AND ENROLLMENT PROCESS

At NIILM University, we ensure a smooth transition from admission to enrollment, providing comprehensive support to our international students. Here’s what you need to know about the selection and enrollment process:

Enrollment:

Enrollment involves the verification of original certificates, obtaining declarations from both parents and students, and issuing the Admit Card upon arrival at the campus. Detailed instructions regarding the commencement of classes and other essential information for completing admission formalities will be communicated separately. Candidates are advised to refer to the website for the actual date of commencement of first-year classes.

Registration:

Prior to the commencement of classes, students should arrive at NIILM University at least 2-3 days in advance and report to the Office of International Affairs to complete the necessary admission formalities. During registration, the following original documents must be submitted:

• Degree or Pass certificate of the qualifying examination
• Grade/mark sheet of the qualifying examination
• Translated versions of all documents, if not in English
• Copy of Passport with a valid student visa (Original will be returned after verification)
• Equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities where applicable
• Migration Certificate (If applicable)
• Recent Passport-size photographs – 15 Nos. (May be required at different departments)

Only after completing the admission formalities will students be permitted to move into the allotted hostels.

Security Registration:

As part of the mandatory process, within the stipulated timeframe of arrival in India, students must register their name with the police at the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO). The timeframe for registration may vary from 24 hours to 14 days, depending on the country of origin. Students with a PIO card must also register at the FRRO. However, OCI card holders are exempt from this requirement. NIILM University will provide necessary assistance in this regard. Please note that applicable immigration processing fees and related expenses are to be borne by the student.

Program Change:

Once a confirmed admission letter is issued, no changes to the program are allowed. We encourage students to carefully consider their program choice before finalising their admission.
